PAYMENTS, CANCELLATIONS AND POLICIES Deposit and Final Payment: 50% is due within 7 days of confirmed reservation. The balance is due 90 days prior to arrival. Other payment plans may be available upon request. For reservations made within 90 days of arrival, full payment is due at time of booking. If the payments are not received as requested, the booking may be cancelled. Security Deposit: The refundable security deposit of US$400 is due by time of check-in in exchange for the keys. The deposit will be returned upon check-out if all is well with the house and property. Damage charges are not limited to $400 and renters remain liable for anything exceeding that amount. Cancellations and No-Shows: Cancellations made 91 days or more in advance of arrival are subject to a 25% administrative charge based on the full contracted rental price. For cancellations occurring within 90 days of arrival, all payments are non-refundable. If the house can be re- rented for all or a portion of the same time period, we will refund up to the contracted price less the 25% administrative fee. No-Shows: No refund given. Occupancy: Comfortably sleeps 5 adults or 4 adults and 2 children. Children are welcome in our home. However, please be aware that this is an open house and there are no security features around the pool or in other areas such as cabinets, stairs, hills, etc. Guests assume full liability for any accidents, injuries or damage. Please, no pets. Smoking: Please respect that this is a Non-Smoking environment anywhere under the roof, including the open living and dining rooms. Insurance/Liability: Flying Toucans is not responsible for the loss or damage of property, personal belongings or any injuries or accidents that might occur. It is recommended that you purchase travel insurance to protect your investment against travel delays and interruptions, medical emergencies and other unforeseen situations, including world events and natural disasters.

About the Rates

• Rates quoted are for 1-4 guests. Extra guests are $25 per person per night. • Rates do not include 13% tax. All other fees are included. Important Info About Making Reservations • Standard rental period is a minimum of 7 nights. • Standard weekly check-in/check-out is Saturday-Saturday. Please contact us directly for shorter rental periods and variable check-in/check-out date availability. • FYI: VRBO/Homeaway has implemented a 4-6% booking fee for using their websites for making reservations. We, John and Mary, prefer communications and reservations be made directly through our personal email (flyingtoucans@hotmail.com) or this, our personal website. This alleviates communication issues we’ve experienced through third party sites.
